I had an amazing time in Virgin Islands. It was a wonderfully relaxing and indulgent week away from the demands and routines of daily life in SoCal. While I packed a ton of dresses, most were made of polyester and silk, and alas not the best materials for 100+ degree weather. As a result, I spent most of my time in cut-off shorts, tees and tanks, and bikinis. Either way, it was an unforgettable experience. The best day, hands down, was when we went on a daysail to a couple different islands to go snorkeling. It was my first time on a sailboat, we were treated with great food and great company the entire day, and we spotted a sea turtle, baby shark, and tons of colorful fish.
