RABBIT TIME

Sun Nien Fai Lok, Gung Hay Fat Choi!

It's the first day of the Year of the Rabbit!
1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999
According to http://www.c-c-c.org/chineseculture/zodiac/Rabbit.html:
People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise. They are most compatible with those born in the years of the Sheep, Pig, and Dog.

In honor of the Year of the Rabbit, here's a picture of the most adorable bunny I've ever seen.

I'm currently being a bad AP student and blogging while I should be writing my research paper comparing and contrasting Lolita and Crime and Punishment that is due tomorrow. Here are my favorite little dolls and trinkets, and a red envelope given to me by my wonderful parents. Two adorable Momiji dolls from my amazing friend Nikki, who is also one of the most amazing artists I know! A Rilakkuma-On-The-Toilet and a cow figurine from my boyfriend Tomas. It brightens up my day when I see them sitting on the corner of my desk :)
