Our most recent project in my ceramics class was to create a 10-12 inch coil vessel. Basically, we had to roll out individual coils (pretty much little ropes or noodles of clay) and slip and score (scratch and glue with a muddy clay and water mixture) them together into intricate patterns. This was mine :]
