I'm been soooo obsessed with Phantom of the Opera ever since I went to go see the play at the Pantages Theater. It's amazing, truly. I've seen the movie like 7 times since the play lol I love it so much, I'm currently watching it now in fact. But most of all, I'm simply amazed by how GERARD BUTLER PLAYS THE PHANTOM! Ohh the good, handsome days before 300... He makes a good phantom to say the least ;) Now I give you some eye candy.

Current Obsession: Phantom of the Opera
Phantom of the Opera
I went to see Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood and it was absolutely amazing! Spectacular! Astounding! Breath-taking! It was my first play and it has awaken an obsession (I've seen the movie 7 times since). Before we went to the theater, my mom and I took some photos and had dinner at the Hollywood Highlands. It's really beautiful there, I hope to go back soon.
look at the crowds of people leaving the theater!
November is the devil for a high school senior
I've been so bogged down by SAT classes, college applications, scholarship searches, and AP classes that my blog has been severely neglected since August :( Especially since during the last week of summer, I found out that one of my planned AP courses wasn't going to be a class this year, so I had to e-mail another AP teacher and ask to be admitted into her class. She gave me one week to do a summer's worth of AP literature work. Let's just say the workload didn't stop there.

MEETING JESSICA WU
No I am not egotistical enough to speak of myself in third person in my blog title. On Saturday, Nov. 6, I met a fellow blogger! Coincidentally, we have the same name! This is her blog, and she's such an inspiration.
I was spending some time with my Aunt and Uncle and their niece, and they decided to drive down to Irvine to go to 85 degree Bakery. I had never been there before, but I started to get excited when they started raving about how amazing it is (and it was 10 o'clock and a bakery run sounded pretty awesome). Once we got there, we saw that the line was LOOOONG! But they said it would definitely be worth it. When I was standing in line, I started looking around curiously as the bright lights and masses of Asians were pretty enticing. Suddenly, I thought I saw a familiar face. As I walked closer, I was certain: It was the other Jessica Wu! I introduced myself and we both had an OH M GODDD! moment. I was so thankful that I had brought my DSLR in the car :) Here are the pictures! And she was so sweet and gave me a Hello Kitty cupcake, from which I saved the ring and am currently wearing.

Part Two: Day Three in LV
After visiting downtown LV, my dad dropped off my mom, brother, and I at the Miracle Mile shops in Planet Hollywood. I got a white and red striped shirt from H&M for $14. Then we walked over to Paris casino to look for the Sugar Factory because we saw it on Holly's World (yes, i kind of have a guilty pleasure for watching stupid reality shows on E! like Holly's World, Kardashians, and Kimora's Life in the Fab Lane, but mainly Rachel Zoe Project!), but it turns out it wasn't open at Paris yet. The one that was already open was in Planet Hollywood; so we went back. I bought two truffles there, a Hazelnut Praline Chocolate and a Milk Chocolate Caramel, it was $2.60!!! MY jaw dropped, but I had to pay.. on the bright side, they sure were delicious :) After Sugar Factory, we went to Pink's hotdogs and bought two chili cheese dogs. Expensive, but really yummy. Then we walked back to our casino, then went to eat in Chinatown.
PEEPSHOW! with Holly and Josh. Sadly, I didnt see Holly... and it was Monday, the one night they don't perform :/
PINK'S! mine with mustard, his without.

Part One: Day Three in LV
Today was a happy day; I got to wear my Zara floral maxi dress (that I got discounted to $17!)! We went to Hash House A Go Go, this sort of down-home, Southern food place in Imperial Palace casino, for brunch. They had HUUUGE portions. It was insane. My mom and I ordered a mushroom, spinach, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and country potatoes hash and I got a chicken, asparagus, and something, with country potatoes hash. It was enormous, and I wish it was actually hashed together... disappointing. We drove to downtown Las Vegas to Fremont Street to look around for a while; it was all pretty rundown with gentlemen's clubs, old casinos, liquor stores, and cheap souvenir shops. Though there were funny things there to take pictures with, like cow toe socks and a giant purple ball necklace.
