I'm addicted to this Madewell video! Madewell is the epitome of easy, chic style that mixes the modern and classic. Polka dots, stripes, pastel skinnies, button-ups, and denim everything. I love it all.

I love Polyvore. The site allows me to create outfits and unleash my inner fashion desires with no holds barred. I can mix and match all kinds of clothing, shoes, and accessories to my each and every whim. Best of all, it allows me to really figure out which items I'm lusting for and what exactly will get the most wear as a part of my wardrobe, which is essential since I'm a college student who adores fashion but is on a strict budget. Looks like I'm craving denim cutoffs, pink shorts, chunky sweaters, and JCs. And I NEED a leopard belt!

one year closer...

This is the perfect denim shirt. I've been subconsciously hunting for one since last spring, and I stumbled upon this one at Banana Republic a couple weekends back. It was on sale for $23 then with an additional 30% off! In the end, I got this baby for $16! So I cuffed the sleeves and paired it with my go-to black ruffled shorts (that looks like a skirt without giving away any modesty in wild winds) and my Report clogs. On an even happier note, it's my 18th birthday next week! I have NO idea what to do so if you have any ideas I'd love to hear them. I've been an avid lover of Jeffrey Campbell shoes for years; I particularly lusted after the JC Charli C clogs last year, but sated my desire with a more affordable pair of Report clogs. Now I have my eye on a pair of nude or cognac Joe's Jeans Brenda V wedges, Aldo's Barberis flat boots, and the Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Platforms. Too much shoe candy! Not enough money!

novel wishlist

I figured that since my birthday is in less than 2 weeks, I would make a birthday wishlist of the items I've been wanting lately, including clothes (mainly bottoms which I lack), jewelry, shoes, and novels. The other day I was telling my boyfriend how I really wanted a pair of Joe's Jeans Brenda V wedges in nude or cognac leather and some flat lace-up boots, and he told me that he heard that you shouldn't buy your girlfriend shoes or else she'll run away from you. Funny little tale huh? I guess I won't be getting any shoes lol

Into The Pleats of Spring

This is the skirt of my dreaaaaaaaaams! I've adored the pleated midi skirt since I first saw them on Dylana and Natalie's blogs. My absolute favorite was this one: a peach-colored pleated midi skirt with optimum twirliness. I spent hours skimming through yesstyle (where Dylana got her skirt), threadsence, forever21, UO, and nastygal in search of the perfect skirt. I found this one at H&M today at South Coast Plaza mall and splurged. Despite my initial giddiness, I was a bit hesitant on the skirt when I got home. However, a mini dress up session and photoshoot quickly erased all doubt from my mind. I'm absolutely in LOVE LOVE LOVE with this skirt! It's the perfect addition for spring (and it is so fun to twirl in).

absolutely in LOVE with these black micro lace-trimmed silk shorts. a bit of a splurge from my normal price range, but this is an item that screams "I NEED TO BE IN YOUR LIFE". I could pair this with sooo many items. I need to try this on; I gotta go to South Coast Plaza ASAP.

prettier makes it yummier

I've been browsing through cupcakesandcashmere's blog for the past... oh I don't know, 5 hours throughout the day, and she's got me enamored with all these beautiful and edible- the trip to Trader Joe's where I stocked up on tortillas, green chile sauce, French Brie cheese, and macaroons didn't help. Suddenly, I had an epiphany that I've been baking cupcakes and brownies (in cupcake molds and calling them brownie bites) because I've never bought any cupcake/muffin liners. These are some of the cutest paper liners I've ever seen.

Friends out there who want to get me a cheaper gift, some cute cupcake liners would be nice :)
